CE associates are experienced in environmental management planning, including pollution prevention planning, hazardous material management, site assessment and mitigation, and storm water pollution prevention planning. We have prepared environmental management plans for large military activities, private industry, and local government. Our plans have resulted in reduced hazardous material purchasing costs, reduced hazardous waste disposal costs, and reduced hazardous waste liability.For example, a Used Oil and Solvent Recycling Plan prepared for a local military facility recommended recycling alternatives for the waste streams which resulted in potential savings exceeding $650,000 annually. Site assessment and mitigation have been performed for underground tank sites involving soil and groundwater contaminated with petroleum products, polychlorinated biphenyls, volatile organic compounds, and metals. Site closure has been achieved following delineation of site impacts and preparation of closure reports. Reports are prepared in general accordance with the County of San Diego, Department of Environmental Health, Site Assessment, and Mitigation Division guidelines. |
